Holden Rodeo Crew cab 1992 Rear wheel drive. This
Ute will suit someone looking for a workhorse, tow vehicle and ‘toy’ all in
one. The ultimate sleeper!!
The original 2.6l 4 cylinder and 4 speed auto have been replaced with a Toyota/Lexus 1UZ 4.0l V8 and 4 speed auto, fully engineered. Dual fuel with vapour injection LPG system installed.
All work was completed in 2011 including - Engine rebuild, gearbox service, new suspension bushes, new shocks, new radiator, new alternator, rebuilt starter motor, rebuilt power steering pump, new brake components, diff service, 2 to 1 exhaust, DAKOTA digital dash installed and lots more.
The Ute was originally registered with standard 14" rims which were soon 'upgraded' to 16" Toyota split rims. This lowered the revs on the highway considerably but grip was still and issue. Around 15,000 km the wheels were replaced with the current 31 x 10.5 x 15 tyres on new Sunraysia rims. The dash is adjustable to suit the different wheels and very accurate.
The Ute was registered until May 2014. It was my daily drive until needing to upgrade to a 7 seater, since then it has been started fortnightly to ensure everything remains lubricated. It is being sold as is, where is, no rego, no RWC, photos form part of the description. Passed roadworthy no issues in 2011 and has been serviced every 10,000km since built.
What needs finishing:
· Air conditioning - all components installed excluding pipework and receiver/dryer, wiring done and ready to connect.
· Cruise control - all components installed but not operating, possible electrical fault??
· Body work - paint rubbed thru on the tub from previous cover, small dents in tail gate and rear skirt, dent in front right hand guard, general bumps and scratches for 1992 work ute.
Preferred method of payment is Cash on Pick up, if paying by PayPal all fees to be paid by buyer (+2.6%).
