was a 6cyl factory 4 speed commercial, now NSW legal 308 4 speed m21, 10 bolt diff
It does have a full set of GTS centre caps and original GTS wheel nuts as well but are not in the photos that do go with car
INTERIOR
door locks shaved with statesman central locking , remote alarm that is a pager and sensors what part of car is being tampered with and electric windows with statesman factory bottle green aircon glass, statesman arm rests, original bucket seats all new upholstery roof lining, door trims and centre seat fold down arm rest in black and cloth insert, original dash insert, GTS steering wheel, full dynamat from firewall to back parcel shelf of ute. CD player mp3 input with 6'' and 6x9'' speakers in backing board behind seat as seen in photos
ENGINE BAY.
engine bay smoothed out (no holes) but all factory pressing retained for that smooth original look, all painted in deep blue mica (same as exterior) even the inside of the guards are finished to the same finish as outside. all wiring runs through relays so lights ignition etc etc all run direct 12 volt, wiring hidden and exposed along chassis rail with thermal overload switches on starter power supply and alternator to protect harness, engine harness and light harness separate for easy of working on car as well as protection,
Engine drive line.
mild 308 cam etc motor was built many years ago and as a testament to the build still running strong today L34 spec heads 4 barrel manifold with Rochester carby, electronic dizzy, motor still pulls strong blows no smoke and driven respectfully excellent on fuel.4 core v8 radiator
has a heavy duty clutch and hyd clutch mechanism, no ghastly rat trap anymore. beautiful pedal and feal, original 4 speed m20 converted and rebuilt into a m21 V8 box, original 4 speed shifter that has a magnificent feel and no play with original gear knob and original 10bolt diff and tail shaft with the heavy duty tonner yoke and uni's
the ute is lowered 2'' and runs original brakes master cylinder and 4 x GTS rims with 2 x 12'' GTS rims shoed with micky Thompson for the rear that are in the photos and come with the car.
(also negotiable on sale of the car if wanted I do have a set of 15'' drop centre rims with 14'' GTS centres inserted and freshly painted with brand new 205 15'' and 225 15'' tyres at extra cost)
tray does have high sides and there is a tie down points for 3 bikes along head board of tray.
this ute has and always was just a parts getter that went a bit out of hand when I painted it many years ago,, it is buy no means a show car or perfect but all the hard work is done and it wouldn't take much to turn it into a quality car or street machine or for that matter a original style nice car,
what it would need to make 100%
a new wiper motor. works but could be replaced.
a new speedo cable
good tidy up
a few touch-ups here n there it is a 40 year old car.
selling as I have 2 registered utes and 3 others to build.
