Genuine ,Original 1 owner Belmont ute.Bought new March 1973 from Clintons at Camden ,NSW by my uncle who has now passed it onto me as he can no longer drive it. Base model Belmont with two Factory options being High comp 202 and front Disc brakes.Has original bottle jack ,owners manual and Gregary's workshop manual.Miles done are unknown as the odo resets to zero at 99999 miles.Currently reading 91XXXX miles.My Uncle use to work OS and the car was stored for two thirds of its life but the original miles are anyones guess.The motor fitted at present doesn't match original paper work so it's at least the second motor .I have had the ute for the last12 months and have probably done about 2000 miles (maybe) There are mods (made by myself)which are a rare original Speco floor Shift conversion from the original Column shift.I have also made some slight improvements to the motor.I have fitted a Weber progressive dual throat carb.Great fuel economy unless you put the foot down and open the second throat, but still will return about 20 miles /gallon (how old school is that)It has an electric choke for effortless starting hot or cold.It is fitted on a Holley Manifold with an adaptor.It has extractors and a 2 inch exhaust system.It is fitted with a very mild highway cam purely to improve torque and drivability.A slightly modded 186 head is also fitted.It is slightly ported with larger valves and double valve springs.Roller tip Rockers (1.6 ratio ) have also been fitted It is also has Electronic ignition .All these mods help to make it very user friendly and a pleasure to drive.All the original parts ie Head ,Inlet ,Exhaust ,carb pushrods ,cam,rockers ,distributor and Column shift are all included if you desire to return to original factory specs. Body and interior are as it left the factory 41 years ago.It has 2 visible rust spots ,The rear window and a small spot in the tray at the rear of the wheel arch.There is also an apparent dent repair just below the filler cap (see pics). It was first regoed in NSW and then Qld as that is where my Uncle retired.I drove it down from Nth Queensland and Blue slipped it and it has July 2015 NSW Rego.All that was required for NSW rego was new ball joints ,Idler arm and shaft. It is in great condition but certainly not concourse, there are ripples /dents in the passenger door and the tail gate there is a piece of grill missing and minor scuffs all over, the door trims and seat have been recovered in a fabric trim ( I guess vinyl doesn't work too well in northern Queensland, go figure)The dash has a small crack as per dash cover. but ,hey its 41 years old. Its a great piece of history I can't preserve so I need to move it on to some one who can hopefully can.No reserve.No Paypal Cash on pick up. Located in the Sutherland Shire.
