Beautiful 1975 Holden Kingswood HJ Ute.
3 Speed, 5.0 litre, 8 cylinder, reconditioned 308 V8 motor.
- Power steering
- Dragway mags
- Rare statesman trim
- Electric windows (although a bit sticky)
- Twin exhaust system
- Black leather seats
- Sports shift
- Remote immobiliser
- CD player (6 stack I think)
- New battery
- Next to no rust!
Just going to be completely straight up; bought this in 2013 for $11900. Spent $3958 at a reputable mechanic to recondition the motor and clean out the radiator (see photo of receipt of works). Then spent an additional $814 to repair the carburettor, and $257 to re-turn the ignition. I still have the receipts for all of these works (equating to about $5000). The ute is now running like an absolute dream. It is currently unregistered (only a couple of very minor things needed to be done for roadworthy; replace springs in seats, put end caps on motor, and new wiper blades. Have pink slip of this small list of defects and current exclusion permit to drive during day times) and I have decided to sell it as I am now back studying. I don't know enough about these and am simply after what I originally paid, excluding all the money I spent on it.
