Description
Selling my 73 HQ 308 Kingswood
I have put a lot of time and money into this car since i have owned it. I bought it of an old guy who had it sitting in a shed for ten years and had been restored to original condition with 186 hub caps stock standard 5 years before that. I removed the 186 and put in a rebuilt 308 and rebuild trimatic. all registered and approved with V8 and matching engine number.
The engine was rebuilt to standard except for lumpy crow cam, rebuilt holly 750 DP, performance intake manifold, 4 into 1 extractors(believe pacemaker), electronic ignition. was dyno tuned, carby rebuilt and re jetted in Adelaide with all paper work and dyno printout made 175 rwkw.
Changed front drums to disks with rebuilt calipers, brand new bushes throughout the front end, new ball joints, new lovell lowered springs front and back, new monroe shocks front and back, weld mags with brand new tyres front and back
Interior also presents well but is not nearly perfect. front seats has small rips, door trims ok but bit daggy, dash one small crack and has brand new carpet.
body is in very good condition through out i have been all through the car. It has a few small rust spots but nothing bad worst bit is on both rear wheel arches but very small amount. doors, floors, boot and sills practically no rust. has had a few rust repairs done properly from previous restoration many years ago. paint presents well but is not perfect.
I never intended to sell this but have just bought a very original HQ premier and will be keeping just one. I highly recommend viewing the HQ to get the full picture to see it is in very good condition but also is not perfect.
