Description
Greetings, up for sale is a very well built 1979 HZ Holden Kingswood tray ute with the rare dual axel conversion. These Utes, are often referred to as a 2 tonne conversion, offering greater tray length (2.5m x 1.85m) as well as the capability to carry more weight . I have owned the ute for around 4 years or so, it has been on the road for the last 2 years as a weekend driver.
Lets be clear, the ute is almost 40 years old, there is visible rust through out, but I have had repaired most structural rust when car was roadworthyed 2 years ago, rust required for the roadworthy was repaired. There is rust in the sill and in quarter panels.
The good points:
Rego paid until 30/12/2016Compliance by VicRoads engineer Rebuilt engine prior to me owning it. This car will not be sold with a roadworthy, however I will sell with plates as is condition. Buyer will be responsible for the car when sale is finalised.
Originally purchased for over 5K unregistered, and I have spared no expense, bring the car to its current condition, but due to personal reasons, I have to let my project car go.
