Description
Up for auction is my HG Monaro. It is a Sydney built car in the great colour combination of Indy Orange paint with orange/black houndstooth interior. Unfortunately ID tags were missing when I bought car but have checked and can still be registered in all states as has a clean untampered with Sydney firewall/chassis number
BODY - The Monaro was stripped back all rust cut out and primed around 5 years ago. It sat idle for around 3 years (with no original repairs resurfacing) and was blocked back and sprayed in its Indy Orange coat around 2 years ago. (have progressive pics with dates to verify all above) It was painted in 2 pac and looks fantastic from all angles
DRIVELINE/FRONT END is a QT308 motor with 4 barrel quadrajet and mild cam, with automatic trans running to a B&M ratchet/bang shifter with a banjo diff out back. and has the 6 inch wheels and GTS hubcaps. Starts first time and front end steering/suspension all feels nice and tight throughout with no strange noises, rattles or leaks.
TRIM has been newly reupholstered in orange and black houndstooth trim which compliments the paint beautifully, new knox carpets and hoodlining. Door and rear quarter trims are originals in very good condition for age and dash is full GTS. Have replaced window and door seals with new where required.
CHROME including bumpers, light surrounds mirrors and badges etc are all originals in very good condition for their age
STAINLESS all body moulds ARE ORIGINALS-NO REPRO are in excellent condition for their age
This is a rare opportunity to purchase a clean HG Monaro in a HERO colour/trim combination.
