1968 Holden HK Monaro GTS Tribute
Would you love an 1960's Aussie muscle car, but don't wantthe headaches? This is not your average 45 year old Monaro.The car isnot a matching numbers collectors item for the purists, it's anenthusiasts car. An iconic coupé with the practicality, driveability &performance of a modern day performance muscle car designed along the lines of the American pro-touring scene, this car is out of the ordinary.
Completed in 2013 over a period of three years, the car has since only travelled 2500 kilometers, It has had a huge amount of time & money invested in it & willonly be for sale for a limited time.
The engine upgrade to a modern LS series 5.7 litre power-plant included the advantage of fuel injectionreliability & economy. This, matched to the six speed manual transmission, then calculated perfectly to thefinaldrive ratio resulting in blistering acceleration & highway cruising @ 1700 rpm. With rack & pinion power steering there's no more arm wrestling that olddrag-link while parking, it's simply a pleasure to drive. Late modelleather interior now boasts foam sports seating which has replaced theold sprung back breakers of yesterday.
