Van was bought 3 years ago and has been registered its whole life. It has a hard life as a work vehicle with many dodgy body touch ups and a fair amount of bog, it will definitely need to be reshelled. The gutter channel was cut off and bogged over at some point. The original 202 was swapped out for a 186 on gas before it got to me. I had a dodgy mechanic that gave me a roadie to swap into my name and I've kept the reg up since. I bought this purely becasue its never been off the road and still has the original plates. I intended to use the chassis, diff, inner front guards and heater.
The spare body was bought from a wreckers in central VIC 3 years ago and has been stored undercover since. Has been hit with rust converter and needs some body work. It has a ding in the back beaver section that will easily pull out with a slide hammer. The worst of the rust is in the drivers side gutter channel, will need to replace around 1200mm of this. There is other small rust patches that will need work you can see in the photos in the link provided.
The GTS guards and front are from the same car.
Second front is in primer and straight.
Second radiator support is perfect
The GTS rims are very good, the rear have been inverted for nice stance by the previous owner, easily swapped back when you get new rubber
Obviously this was going to be a great project but I was injured at work a couple years ago and after years of rehab I won't be getting back on the tools any time soon, so it looks like I wont be able to get into it. A bit disappointing, but I would love to pass it over to someone that will give it the love it deserves.
The van is located in east ringwood, the body is stored at a mates and the panels are in storage.
All serious offers considered
