ALL MATCHING NUMBERS, original block and original specs throughout.
GMH VERIFICATION
ORIGINAL 90000 MILES.
ORIGINAL UNMARKED INTERIOR WITH FACTORY ORDER MANARO BUCKET SEATS & 4 SPEED CONSOLE.
ENTIRELY ORIGINAL DASH/ INSTRUMENTATION INCLUDING ORIGINAL RADIO
This vehicle was in storage in Queensland for 6 years.
It arrived in Victoria in December last year.
The appropriate work was undertaken and
It passed the Victorian RWC with flying colours and was presented for inspection at Vic roads for approval and new registartion. All numbers match and have been verified by Vic roads office.
The motor is unopened as far as we can determine.
The gearbox has been entirely rebuilt to original spec including all internal parts, bearings and seals by the highly reputed Trans Gears and Diffs and has a warranty until February 2015. A new heavy duty clutch and pressure plate were also fitted.
The tailshaft has been computer balanced with new universals both ends.
The only modifications/improvements are as follows:
Power steering to factory spec
Immobiliser and separate kill switch.
Reconditioned Holley 350 carb and air filter
Later model holden/bosch electronic distributor and bosch coil pack wired correctly.
Modern ignition leads
Extractors and 2.5 inch single system
New springs and new shocks all round to provide more accurate handling.
Hallogen Lights and bulbs
Pedders rebuilt the entire front end as per their recommendation/report with an alignment: even Pedders say that there is no more to do on the front end..and that all parts that they replaced were original and indicative of the cars low mileage.
New upper and lower control arm bushes, sway bar mounts etc etc.
New lower steering column. New upper steering column bushes and bearings.
The front disks have been renewed and callipers overhauled.
Original stamped GTS rims have been balanced and new tyres have been fitted all round. Less than 1500km
Original SS Steering wheel
Spark plugs and all filters have been renewed, new belts and new hoses throughout the motor for security.
New water pump and thermostsat.
Most of the above parts that have been replaced were original and still working. But best practice was adopted and we chose to renew them for peace of mind.
All work is documented and receipts are available.
This car has been set up the way any car that has been sitting around in storage should be. New oil and all wearing and serviceable parts have been replaced.
Every mechanic that has had it on a hoist has commented on the originality, cleanliness and straightness of the underbody and components.
The exterior has been resprayed at some stage probably in the last 5 years in the original colour to the outside only.
There is very little or no rust and all channels and water flow points are clear and RUST FREE.
This is the opportunity to obtain a very rare original vehicle….How many more of these are in Australia…and how many will come up for sale in the next five years?
