Description
If your looking for a ute that stands out from the crowd or a tough weekend comp truck then this is the ute for you.
The solid front axle conversion in the front and leaf over conversion in the rear make this ute very capable off road.
Both front and rear diffs are fully rebuilt with all new bearings and seals. The front diff has a custom made bash plate welded to the pumpkin to give added protection. It has a balanced custom built rear tail shaft to adapt rodeo transfer to hilux differential with heavy duty center bearing.
Front radius arms are from an 80 series land cruiser and coils and shocks are from a GU patrol.
This was built like this in order to achieve maximum suspension flex whilst still handling safely on the road.
It is a regrettable sale but due to some life changes i no longer have time to use it.
Currently it is no longer in registration and will require an engineers certificate before it can be re-registered. This shouldn't be a problem as all modifications were carried out in order to keep it within engineers specs.
Otherwise it can just be used as an off road weekend comp truck.
The engine runs well and starts easily and all gearbox functions also work well.
This vehicle has been regularly serviced at 5000km intervals in order to keep it running well.
Currently it needs a new front drive shaft which is just a standard leaf sprung hilux shaft as it has a rodeo to hilux adapter installed on the transfer.
This ute has a 9500lb winch, roolite spotties and a gme uhf. There is a custom built box behind the front seats which houses two 6x9 speakers and is used for storage inside and on top. The tyres shown on the ute in the photos wont be sold with the ute instead it will have a full set of tyres shown in one of the pictures separately.
