LC Holden Torana 4 cylinder coupe with some 6 cylinder parts

This is a complete car including ALL mechanical parts, interior trim, exterior trim components. Nothing is missing, everything as per original LC Torana SL 4 cylinder 2 door specs, however some parts have been removed from the car (but will be included in the sale).
Originally Cameo Gold Metallic with Antique Gold interior. 1159CC engine with floor shift manual. Not running but I’m told by the previous owner that he had it running and it can be manually turned over.
Car being sold as we now have 3 cars but only a 2 car garage and really nowhere else to store the Torrie unfortunately.
Car is in Brisbane (Mitchelton, 10 klms North of CBD).
Selling the car as a complete 4 cylinder car, and also includes 6 cylinder bonnet and fully rebuit 6 cylinder k-frame from disc to disc. If interested in buying the car without the 6 cylinder parts, please contact me. Will not sell the 6 cylinder parts separately until the car has sold first though (so the buyer of the car has first option on those parts). This eBay listing is for the complete car + 6 cylinder parts, all inclusive.
Body/trims
All panels very straight and body is very close to rust-free. The only rust present is in the passenger front floor pan (easy repair, new pan not required) and there is a small amount of surface rust in the passenger side A-pillar, also an easy fix. All original red oxide paint in the interior, doors and quarters are fresh inside (trims currently removed so you can see), boot all completely rust-free too. Spare wheel wells in boot, windscreen surrounds, sills, cowls, doors, quarter panels and the rest all completely rust-free and hardly any body filler either. You don’t find many coupe bodies this good! As you can see from the pics, paint is ancient and pretty thin in parts, but nothing to hide and you will see nothing has been patched up in recent times, very much what you see is what you get. A good honest car. Car was from Lightning Ridge, so a nice, dry climate out there has helped to preserve this car. Currently garaged in Brisbane.
All chrome trims in great condition – gutter moulds PERFECT and trims along tops of doors also perfect, except for one small dent on the RHS door trim. Includes sill panel trims, (not pictured) which are also in great condition. All “Torana” and “SL” badges included. Complete tail lights included, need a paint and polish and new lenses, but dent-free, not pitted, nice and straight.
Includes 4 cylinder grille, bonnet, headlight surrounds, etc.
Interior
Interior has been stripped out, but is complete and all parts to be included in sale, including:
Original seatbelts and buckles
Folding coupe seats and rear seat (SL, similar to GTR seat shape)
Door trims
Scuff plates
Kick panels
All dash components, steering wheel, etc
Manual floor shift console in good condition
Other bits – spares/extras
Includes a few spares, some 150cd Stromberg carbs, manifolds, 4 cylinder manifolds, fuel pumps, hubs, calipers, axles, etc.
Spare boot lid
6 cylinder bonnet
Fully rebuilt 6 cylinder k-frame – rebushed, new shocks/springs, new discs and calipers redone, etc. Doesn’t include steering rack but car includes the 4 cylinder front end which does have the steering rack.
I have talked to an engineer about doing the 6 cylinder conversion (in QLD) and no big probs to do.
Engine and gearbox currently out of car, but happy to either put back in and also happy to sell the car with or without them (price includes them though)
The only parts that are “missing”, are a clutch cable and the heater box has a couple of large cracks (may be repairable)?
I also have a 1250Kg engine crane available for sale separately if the buyer is interested (this is the only item not included in this eBay listing)
