Description
For sale 1997 VS Holden Commodore series 2 ute. Original V6, 5 speed getrag
gearbox and bench seat. Body work and paint are very good with no signs of
rust. Drives fine and is very reliably. Has not been used for a couple of
years as it was replaced as my daily work vehicle and kept as a back-up.
Over the years a number of servicing items have been renewed such as:
Pedders heavy duty front shocks
Front nolathane bushes on lower control arms and radius rods
Tie rod ends
Inlet manifold gasket
water pump
Ignition coils
fuel pump
plus regular servicing
The VS is being sold unregistered and without a road worthy. Items that may need attention include a new set of tyres. Front passenger tyre is scrubbed on the outside and other tyres have low tread. Doesn't leak or use any oil. Kilometeres showing are 274,054, however the odometer stopped working about 20,000kms before I stopped driving it.
Also included is the original tonneau cover to suit the roll bar. Note it is in poor condition but may be useful to the new owner. Local pick up from Croydon Hills
