Description
Owned the car for 14 years, been my everyday driver for about 10 years, weekender for the past 4.
Rego (VIC) expired last December, kept it ticking over since then.
Will be sold unreg, RWC could be obtained at buyers expense.
Local pick up Outer East Melbourne or transport arranged at buyers cost.

HQ Ute, unworked 253 Red Motor, Trimatic Auto, Premier Front, extractors, power steering, premier dash.

Same old story - planned to do it up - mortgage, baby, renos, etc Unfortunately no time or money to do it properly.
Engine:
I had the engine and trimatic put in the car together about 4 years ago, replaced a 4 speed 308. Runs great no major mechanical issue since then - leaks a little oil.
New leads and plugs about 12 months ago. New battery.
Body:
Body is straight, with NOS tailgate (will supply original with small dent). Wipers, grill, mirrors, cowling and bars sprayed black.
There were a few spots of surface rust under the old enamel paint, I cut it back in a few sections and had it sprayed for protection. Paintwork is a good job but you can still make out fine surface indentations where I cut back enamel - see photo. Surface rust in bottom of both doors, but no holes.
Sunroof installed, functioning, no leak or rust.
LHS Bumperette was popped off by trailer at one stage caused minor damage where it bolts to body(not visible when bumper fitted).
I have the 2 original Bumperette with stoppers, LHS is a little twisted. RHS Unmarked.
Also include full length rear bumper bar off a wagon, including rubber strip and overriders in excellent condition.
Interior:
Bucket seats foam is good, need reupholster. Floor pans no holes.
Premier dash, GTS mirror, no auto console. Carpet and headlining ok.
No door trims, rubbers ok.
It would make a great base for a resto, all original GM parts except NOS tailgate and Grill.
Could still be used as an everyday / work ute, but buyer would need to organise RWC - Club Reg might be the way to go.
