1984 HONDA ATC 200ES SUPER RED

Offered for sale is a near mint 1985 Honda ATC 250ES Big Red three wheeler. It is in absolutely beautiful condition. The pictures speak for the machine. Nice examples are rare to say the least. It has the original tool kit and owner's manual with it. I have too many toys and am in need of space in my garage, so i'm letting it go. The bike is shaft driven with automatic clutch and reverse. It has electric start and backup kick starter. New battery. It came to me wearing its original tires which had great tread left but showed some dry rot from age and sitting. I had some tires on hand that were the correct factory size, so I put them on it. They are the factory size, but once they were on, I realized that they have a taller and wider profile. Close on front but works with no clearance issues and I like the way it looks. The headlight is detachable without tools and has a long lead for use as a spot light/work light. All lights work including neutral and reverse indicators. The brakes work great. Fuel tank is flawless and is very clean inside with no rust. The motor fires up easily and runs strong with plenty of power and no smoke. From cold start, I can hear some cam chain noise which seems to subside when it warms up. Exhaust is perfect. Bike is wearing original plastics that are in great shape with no cracks and no fender trim broken or missing. Only miner scuffs from being thirty years old. This would make a great addition to any ATC collection! The owner before me only rode it around the yard and in parades. These bikes will go just about anywhere, pull anything and spin around on a dime. Way more fun than a quad in my opinion. Its a great conversation piece and draws attention everywhere it goes because so many people owned them back in the day but haven't seen one in years.
