ANOTHER Roush Honda “No Reserve” auction for a mechanic’s special! This is for a 2013 Accord EX-L that simply sparkles. Most people would never guess it has over 90,000 miles, it’s that nice. AND it’s equipped with things you couldn’t get on ANY car (not even a Rolls Royce) just a few years ago: LIKE “Smart Entry” – just have the electronic key in your possession and grip the door handle to unlock it or press the button on the handle to lock it. LIKE: Lane Deviation Warning – drift out of your lane without signaling a turn or lane change and the car lets you know. LIKE Forward Crash Warning – approach too fast or get too close and it lets you know! All the usual amenities like heated leather seats, 2 driver recognition memories for the seat, dual zone climate control, power moonroof, 7 speaker stereo with subwoofer and satellite radio plus more are present.
The bottom line: the transmission will need to be replaced at some point in the nearer (not farther) future. It hasn’t set off the “check engine” light yet, but it will eventually. You can feel a bit of a “thump” when it shifts from 1st to 2nd at this point, otherwise everything about it and the rest of the car appears to be functioning normally. The air-conditioning is cold, the power steering is silent and the Stereo sounds great – 3 months free trial of satellite radio included.
