The Car:
Thanksfor taking a look at this great value example of the Honda Accord 1.8 i-VTEC Sport, finished what I think is the best colour for oneofthese - Milano Red with full black velour sportstrim. Before telling you about the car, I think I should maybetell you a little about myself From College 18 yrs ago I wentstraight to work in the motor trade working exclusively for franchisedmain dealers in sales. This meantthat I spent my days appraising and buying cars of all makes and models,both new and used, all day long (This includes time spent with a Honda main dealer and Honda manufacturer training at the Honda Institute in Slough). As such feel that being able to spot'the nice ones' is a skill developed with many years of industry and manufacturer training.Since leaving the main dealer arena to pursue family commitments I havemaintained my industry contacts and get offered many cars by friends andprevious colleagues still working in main dealerships who are taskedwith keeping an eye out for these 'nice ones'. With both theirexperience and mine, this usually gives me a very good chance ofobtaining genuine cars at great prices, which then means I can pass thesaving straight onto you. This usually works for me, (not always, butthat's cars for you) but regardless, my commitment to you is that thecar will be described accurately here and priced to reflect the bestvalue I can find across the trade. As those who know me would testify, Ithoroughly enjoy working with cars and take a great deal of personalsatisfaction in providing people with great cars at an affordable priceand am committed to providing great service. Please take a moment toread my feedback, so that you can understand that what is described iswhat you will be getting and buy with confidence.
Thiscar is absolutely beautiful for its age, and drives without fault. It just couldn't be any nicer. It drives like it just rolled out of the box! There is no pulling to the left or right,either when accelerating, driving or braking. The acceleration is smoothand powerful as you would expect, as these superb engines produces a veryrespectable 135bhp, hardly makes a sound when cruising along and yet canstill easily return an average of 35+ mpg!! Thegearbox moves from gear to gear silky smooth, both up and down throughall 5 gears perfectly, the clutch is like new (only fitted 16k miles ago) and as such feels perfect,and the brakes feelsharp. There is no juddering from the steering wheel at motorway speed,and no funny noises, knocks or whines, and there are no warning lightson on the dashboard. It really couldn't drive any better! All 4 wheelsare in excellent condition, and the tyres are also in very good condition. I haveinspected the car all round, and other than the odd tiny stone chip and age related mark there is absolutely no damage thatyou would call significant, or even noticeable. Obviously it is 12 years old and not a new car but he only mark that I could find anywhere that you would call damage is a very small (2") crack in the n/s rear bumper just below the light, and a very small scuff on the front drivers bumper corner (See pics). Overall the carpresents superbly for its age and has obviously been very well maintained (See Pics). Inside the car the interior feels immaculately clean andtidy and there isn't any wear to be found anywhere anywherearound the cabin - even the cigarette lighter has never been used! The beautiful black velour sport trim is in immaculate condition, there are no rips or tears anywhere, and the rearseats look like they have never been used. All of the knobs and buttonswork, the air conditioning was re-gassed a couple of services ago and is icy cold, and there are no pieces of trim hanging off anywhere. .Icould just keep going on and on.Onmy 70 mile drive home from collecting this car after it had been tradedin at a large main dealer, all I can say that it droveperfectly at all times (please remember that I have Honda training and experience and have driven literally hundreds of these cars), it still feels tight like it has hardly done any mileage, and whoever buys it is going to drive home feeling just as smart as I did because it really is an exceptionally cared for example of a superbly engineered car.
Quitesimply, this is an lovely car at a lovely price!!It honestly couldn't drive any better, is in superb condition for its age, has a fullservice history, and a brand new MOT, It is a veryrelaxing and enjoyableplace to be It comes withthe original Honda handbook pack, service history book and service invoices asdetailed above, and the two original keys. Other than thisall I can say really is if you are looking for one of these cars, thenyou should probably stop reading this ad and call me straight awaybecause as I said, I don't think you really will find a better value carat thisage, mileage and price anywhere, and I'm sure that the first person toview thiscar will definitely drive away in it!
As always, I have tried to be as honest as possiblewith my description, as mis-describing cars just wastes everybody'stime. However, as ever, it can only be regarded as my opinion (what elsecould it be?!), and as such I would much prefer you to come and viewthe car for yourself before bidding or buying (I prefer it as I am nottrying to hide anything). Any test drive/inspection is not onlywelcomed, but is indeed expected (current driving licence required totest drive). I also prefer it as once you view the car for yourself, and drive the car for yourself, you will see for yourselfwhat a truly stunning example this is and what fantastic value formoney that it represents.
