Here we have in our possession another Stunning and Exceptionally Well Kept Top Of The Range Honda, on offer is a 2002/02 Honda Accord 2.3 Type V Automatic, this model is now becoming hard to find and with this example having only covered 59,000 miles from new it is rare. Japanese quality built to last, this vehicle has barely broke into a sweat and will cover this mileage twice over with ease, it comes with just 2 previous owners and a very respectable full service history consisting of 7 service stamps in the book right up to date. It will also come with a brand new 12 Months MOT for the new keeper, this is a range topping model with every conceivable extra including a full Ivory leather trim. Service intervals at: 0 miles pdi inspection, Honda, Crown Motors Ltd of Herts were the supplying dealer, they carried out the pdi inspection plus the next 3 services at 1,824 miles, 6,552 miles and 12,095 miles, it was then serviced at Kwik Fit at 32,035 miles and the last 2 services by Halfords at Leeds 48,203 miles and 54,061 miles. The present mileage is 59,000 with the vehicle in daily use as we speak, this Honda Accord has been fastidiously maintained from new regardless of cost with no expense spared. Cosmetically it is in fine fettle and very presentable, the bodywork is bright as a button from all 4 corners and there is no major marks or damage to be seen. I have given this Executive Saloon a thorough test drive over the last few days and have travelled around 100 miles overall and I cannot fault this stunning Honda in any way, it starts, drives and stops as it should. It is extremely refined, comfortable and well balanced and performs exactly how you would want it to. This vehicle did a 60 mile trip up the motorway and was an absolute pleasure, it will overtake without issue and the power from the *152 BHP* unit is there when needed. No issues at all. On start up the engine is quiet and sounds positive, it revs freely and is very eager to pull in every gear. The steering and handling are perfect, you turn the wheel and it instantly responds there is no sign of abuse or neglect here. The brakes are sharp and brought me to a swift stop and in a straight line and the automatic gearbox is a dream, all gears are selected with ease and it is very smooth. To be honest when behind the wheel the only way of telling this cars mileage is by looking at the odometer (59k), it feels tight as a drum and is a true testament to its previous owners. Overall this is a superb example of the ever so popular Honda Accord that comes in *Type V* form, it looks and drives fantastic, you will not be disappointed, I really cannot fault this vehicle but please take into consideration that it isn't new, there is some minor blemishes as expected and everything stated is my opinion which may differ from yours so a viewing is highly recommended. Here is the report from my Test Drive
The car starts 1st time with no hesitation and no need to press the accelerator, on tick over it idles evenly and doesn’t jump around the rev range. There are no knocks or bangs or any other odd noises. The automatic gearbox is smooth and positive and changes up and down exactly as it should, all gears are selected with ease, the transition between each is flawless. The kick-down on the auto gearbox is superb and really does pick the vehicle up quickly. The handbrake and brakes operate perfectly. There is absolutely no juddering of the steering wheel, no pulling to the left or right and no untoward noises from the suspension. The power steering is light but positive at the same time and everything feels tight. The general feel of the vehicle when driving is brilliant, it really is effortless and a complete joy to drive. In conclusion with age and miles being taken in to account you really couldn't wish for this Honda to perform any better, it is totally sure-footed on the road, tight going in to corners, well balanced on the straight and being the Type V model it doesn't hold back when you put your foot down, it is a pleasure to drive. There are no warning lights present at all.
Interior
Inside is in excellent condition relative to its age and mileage, I am pleased to tell you that there is no serious signs of wear at all, no pieces of trim hanging off, no broken bits of plastic, no holes in the dashboard and everything is where it should be. The ivory leather trim is very clean and tidy and showing no signs of age at all, it really is in superb condition. The floor-carpet is very clean and tidy throughout with no nasty stains, toffee marks or holes in the foot-wells and have been protected by the original Honda over-mats and the headlining, door-cards and dash area are all in-tact and pretty much spotless. Everything is clean and free from excessive signs of wear and tear. The car is fitted with a superb factory stereo unit that features Radio/CD player that sounds fantastic and loud. The boot is in very good order too and has seen no heavy use. Overall the interior of this vehicle is exactly what you would expect from an exceptionally well looked after top of the range Honda with an exemplary full service history and just 59k from new, for its age it is simply superb.
Exterior
As you can see from the photo's this highly regarded executive saloon is in fine fettle and is very presentable, it looks to have been exceptionally well kept and cherished by its previous owners. The car is finished in gorgeous clover green paint which gives it a modern, *sleek* appearance, the paintwork is exceptionally bright from every angle and has not faded, the colour really is fantastic. There is no major damage around the bodywork and all panels are totally straight with matching gaps all-round. I have included high definition photographs in the advert to try and show just how well this Honda looks, I will not or never try and hide anything, honesty is always best practice. A very close inspection will reveal only a few light marks from general wear and tear. I need to bring to your attention specifically 1 or 2 minor stone chips/pin dings to the front end/bonnet and a couple of minor paint swirls from general use. There is a small scuff to the corner of the front bumper and the headlight wash jet is missing. That's it. Apart from these notable variations I can tell you that their are simply no other major dents, scratches, scrapes or scuffs anywhere on the car. All mentioned are general cosmetics that do not detract the overall clean, presentable lines of this Honda. Having had a really good look around the vehicle I can assure you that there is no major rust showing at all. The car is fitted with genuine Type V alloy wheels in very good condition wrapped in 4 Branded Tyres with excellent tread, this is a genuine vehicle, obviously it is now just over 13 years old so you may find the odd age related blemish here and there and a pin dint from Tesco’s car-park but that is it, there are no eye-sores or anything that jumps out at you. I am very critical on all my cars as I like to be as honest as possible before viewings.
