If you are looking at this ad you already know that the Honda CBX is becoming more desirable year after year and as a result the prices are increasing. I feel this bike is worthy or a restoration rather than to be parted out.
Selling my 1979 perseus silver metallic CBX needing a total restoration. It is 99% complete and equipped with the desired sport kit. It is missing the airbox cover, tank badges and exhaust. The bike was stored inside a non insulated garage since last plated in the early 90's. Due to this the bike has some surface corrosion. This is most noticeable on the tank which the prior owner had stripped for a custom paint job that never happened. The inside of the tank is clean and free of rust. I sprayed a fogging oil to help keep clean. The odometer shows 18000 kilometers which the prior owner states is accurate but I am not able to verify. The engine does turn over as seen in the video link. I confirmed oil was present, removed the plugs and turned by hand before using the starter to turn over.

This Honda CBX is currently registered in Ontario with the ownership (title) in my name. Located in southern Ontario Canada, 3 hours from Detroit or 2 hours from Niagara falls NY. Shipping is a buyers expense. US residents are able to cross the border and purchase without issue but please confirm border status before bidding as it may change. I am willing to assist with shipping but it is the buyers responsibility to arrange.
Due to the cost associated with listing on ebay, a non refundable $250 deposit is required within 2 days of sale. Remaining balance to be secured by bank draft/wire or cash in person.
