The time has come for me to sell my beloved Civic SiR, now having owned a number of Hondas (DC2 EG6 EE9 EK9) just to name a few I can honestly say this has been the most amazing chassis to work with and the most trouble free motoring I have had.
Now having owned Hondas for the last 3 years I certanly know how to take care of these particular vehicles, they are all ways warmed up before VTEC and cooled down after a drive, only driven on Shell V-power fuel. Now some details on the car…

Engine and Gearbox
There is no nonsense about smocking or burning oil here. The car starts first time every time, the gearbox is very tight engages all gears nice and smooth with no crunches, if anything is worth a mention it would be the rocker cover is starting to flake in places
Bodywork/Wheels
The body work is in very clean. Been a 18year old vehicle the car is prone to have age related marks but has very few flaws, I have all ways had a passion to take care of my cars and im sure it shows by the condition of the pictures, polishes up very well and gets attention where ever it goes. All four wheels are in great condition and have been recently treated to some new Toyo T1R tyres
Interior
The interior is in very good condition, the seat bolsters are nice and tight and keep you held in the seat really well, been a SiR it has slight and stubble improvements over its UK brother, my favourite being the Dash board with the Climate Control system.
Bad bits
- Both tabs broken on number plate recess (due to retard fitting number plates)
- Slight burn mark on the inside of the passenger light (previous owner had a HiD kit fitted, now removed)
Price
£3500 - I realise this is strong money for essentially an EK4 but this is not a car you see every day. I would only be able to count on one hand how many of these there will be in the UK, they are becoming harder and harder to find in good condition and I believe this one justifies the premium.
