Honda Civic Type-R in Black
4 Owners including myself. MOT'd till February 2016
Mileage - 95500 (this will increase slightly as I drive it occasionally)
Part Honda Service (Honda stamps are in the majority - 6 of 9 are either Honda or Honda Specialists) to 85k with a recent Oil & Filter Change at MOT - 95K Timing Belt and Tensioners do not require replacement according to service book. Car has been a second car for last 6 months so has not done a lot of miles.
Good Points Low mileage for a car this age - runs like a dream. Vtec engages as it should 4 reconditioned calipers (less than 1000 miles ago) New Pads (Front) New Discs & Pads (Rear) New Windscreen (fitted January 2015) Private number plate included Honda Lock Central Locking Immobiliser and Alarm Valve Clearances done at 76k Decent Tyres all round Still have the vehicle check email from when I bought the car - I can forward this on if required
Bad Points Some stone chips (as expected on a 13 year old car) Ding near Drivers side door (looks like a previous owner has caught seat belt in the door) Alloys need to be refurbished Exhaust has service rust on back-box but not blowing (not a genuine Honda part but they are available on here for around £50-80 used) Drivers seat is worn (Common issue with the Type-R - pictured) Some advisories on MOT for the bushes but my Mechanic wasn't concerned otherwise I would have had the work done.
I am selling the car due to taking on a commute and as I cannot afford to run two cars. Very sad day for me but hopefully someone can take it and look after it (and maybe get the few cosmetic niggles sorted - that was always the plan before I changed jobs). No expense spared since i've owned the car.
Priced to sell as there aren't many of these pre-face lift around with such low mileage.
