Service history
Mot - November 2016
This is a German civic that was brought back to the uk by the first owner
that was part of the British military.
For sale is my Honda Civic ed7, the car has a 1.6 16v DOHC engine that produces 140bhp. I have owned the car two years. The civic has been kept in my garage for a large majority of the time.
Bodywork
The body work of the civc is in very good condition for its age, however it does have the odd car park ding and some paint craze on the bumper. The car has been Polished and waxed every 6 months and washed most weekends. All of the trim is intact and good condition. The car has had both of the rear sills cut out and replaced with brand new replacement panels. The civic does have a minor piece of surface rust on the drivers side rear arch. I have removed the rear bumper and the rust is only minor, i am happy to show you if you come to have a look. I have fitted a mk3 golf vr6 front splitter to the car and a renault rear splitter.
Interior
The interior of the civic is in very clean and original with a few subtle upgrades. It has the original 16.16 seats front and rear, unfortunately a button on my jeans caught the drivers bolster however it has been repaired and is not that noticeable. the rear parcel shelf has no holes from speakers and is good condition. I changed the carpet in the car as the original had some holes and stains. I have fitted a dc2 type R lower console that benefits from cup holders, i also imported a usdm integra arm-rest and middle console. I have also changed the steering wheel to a Personal wheel. The gear knob has also been swapped to a neo chrome skunk 2 weighted knob. The front speakers have also been changed from originals too Alpine components, as well as a aftermarket head unit with built in Bluetooth ect.
Wheels
I have two sets of wheels for the civic, the first set are the original 16.16 wheels, these are in ok condition but they could do with some tlc. The original wheels are fitted with 4 road legal tyres, i have all the centre caps for them. The second set of wheels are enkei's originally from a 96 spec dc2 type R painted black. The tyres have Toyo R888 fitted with lots of tread left.
Engine
The engine on the civic is mostly original apart from a stainless steel manifold, the rocker cover has started to flake. I fitted a complete original airbox and affiliated pipes. The engine pulls well through all the gears, There is a small leak but i am unsure where it originates from however the between oil changes it has never been 'low' the gearbox is a little noisy but has been like it since i have had it and it hasn't got any worse.
Suspension
The original suspension has been changed to Koni shocks and springs, the ride is quite firm but not unbearable, the springs are shorter than original so the car is around 40mm lower than stock. Their is a slight knocking noise coming from the o/s/f but i assume this is a top mount that i will hopefully have sorted by the time the car is sold.
Other
The brakes work great on the car and do not pull at all. The exhaust has had resonator removed as sometimes it caught on my driveway. The car benefits from electric windows electric mirrors and a electric sunroof, all items work however the drivers window is a little slow. The car has had team heko wind deflectors fitted.
I have kept all of the original parts that have been changed excluding the suspension so i have the original steering wheel ect. These will also come as part of the sale, i also have a; spare wing, rear filler bar, and a rear bumper that i have started to modify to look the same as a jdm rear bumper (no fogs and square number plate recess) these will be included. Both sets of wheels will also come with the car.
