Description
Having owned and loved this car for over 8 years, since it was two years old, I am only selling due to retirement. My wife also has the same model Civic as they are so good and reliable to drive and we are keeping hers.
The car is in excellent condition with very few marks and scratches for the age that are barely noticeable. All original paintwork. The interior is also in excellent condition with no noticeable wear on the trim or carpets. The wheels are undamaged and fitted with premium brand tyres that are about half worn.
It drives as well as when I bought it with 17,000 on the clock, and for a 2 litre petrol is economical having averaged 41mpg since I bought the car, according to the trip computer.
It has now done 102,000 miles (increasing slightly with occasional use) and has always been serviced to schedule, nearly always with fully synthetic oil and has never ever had to have oil added between services. The engine runs as sweet as when new, has chain driven camshafts and so no cam belt issues as with many other types of cars.
The black interior has half leather seats and a leather trimmed steering wheel. It has power mirrors and climate control. The rear seats usefully fold flat and there is plenty of rear leg room.
Two keys, both with remote.
Front wishbone recently changed to address MoT advisory notice concerning worn bushes, and wheel alignment re-adjusted.
I will carry out a major service before sale with new NGK spark plugs, oil filter and fully synthetic oil, air filter, cabin filters and the 10 year change of engine coolant using the correct Honda Type 2 coolant.
