1994 Honda Del Sol with 160 HP DOHC VTEC Engine

This is the model with the TRUE VTEC engine as shown by the serial number. This is NOT the 125 HP VTEC. It is the rare 160 HP DOHC VTEC and seems to run just like the day I bought it in 2006 from a private owner. It was in much better condition body wise then. Now there is a considerable amount of rust which is shown in the pictures. The windshield is cracked in 2 places and like all Del Sols, the targa top leaks a little when it rains. This car is extremely fun to drive and is over powered for the weight of the car. It has a lot of pep and will throw your head back as you step on the gas in lower gears. This car is a daily driver and has approximately 240,000 miles on it, but that will likely be higher by the time it sells since we drive it all the time. It was in a minor front end collision after I bought it and consequently has newer fenders and hood, which are in great condition. It was in a hail storm which left some small dents which we never bothered to have fixed since they were so minor. This car comes with a salvage title which is the way I bought it. It passes E Check every time but may burn a little oil, but not so much that I have to add any oil before a scheduled oil change. Basically this car is ideal for someone that has a Del Sol with a blown engine or a smaller engine that they want to upgrade. This engine is hard to find and is basically most of the value of this car.
