2009 Honda Element EX
Very good shape and no rust as it is a Texas Vehicle. Ready to drive across the country.
Like new Goodyear Eagle RS-A tires!
Rides and drives very smooth. Quite cab even at highway speeds. No pops, pulls, squeaks, rattles, or "mysterious noises".
Mechanic owned - Synthetic oil, oil filter, and engine air filter were always changed on time. Cabin air filter got changed about 3 times a year. Transmission fluid was serviced about 3 years ago (sooner than what Honda calls for - Again mechanic owned) with genuine Honda transmission fluid. Coolant was changed with genuine Honda coolant about a year ago. New Honda battery with 100 month warranty installed about a year ago also.
VERY RELIABLE - Never left me stranded. I've personally put about 57,000 miles on this car and the Check engine light has never came on the entire time I've owned it.
Everything on this car works as it should.
A/C is VERY cold and heater is VERY hot.
Cruise, wipers, lights, power mirrors, power windows, radio, etc. EVERYTHING works! Has the stylish Honda running boards which really help getting in and/or accessing your roof storage. Upgraded to 18" rims from the "SC" model Element. Has a nice stance and handles better with the slightly wider tires.
This Element has a genuine Honda all-in-one key fob that no other Element's have. The key has the buttons instead of a separate fob. VERY HANDY! Not sure why they don't come like that from the factory.
One of the coolest and unique features of the element is that the front and back seats fold down to sleep 2 people. The center console serves as a neat removable "picnic lunch box ice chest" ( See pics) fill it with ice and keep your drinks cold!
You can also buy special accessories made for the element like a tent that uses the rear hatch and a "dog package" for keeping your pet safe and comfortable on long car trips.
The rear seats fold up giving lots of storage space and can be easily removed in a matter of seconds if you need every square inch possible.
