Purchased by me in 2009 as an ultra-reliable, superbly built daily driver – and never once has she let me down. No doubt a car for any zombie apocalypse or related calamity!
I am the second owner, with the first owner having the car bought for her by her mother (purchased at John Blair Motor Sales).
This car was meticulously maintained by the first owner – the first two services were completed at 1,104kms and 14,857kms, both at John Blair. The car was thereafter very regularly serviced and maintained (approximately every 10,000kms) by Astoria Honda – full, comprehensive history and all receipts available.
I have continued the tradition of meticulous, spare-no-expense maintenance - she has been in for a service approximately every 10,000kms. I had the timing belts etc done at 100,710kms.
The car runs very well – mechanically A1. Everything works as it should, with hotter-than-the-sun heating and colder-than-the-Antarctic air conditioning. All electrics work without issue (electric windows and mirrors). These cars are very solidly built and to a high quality, and make for exceptionally reliable runabouts/daily drivers.
A special note should be made of the very low kilometres - she has just now clocked up 110,000kms. I live in Reservoir and work in Preston, and so my daily drive throughout the working week is negligible.
The interior is immaculate, testament to the fact that this car has had a very, very, very good life.
Paintwork is decent, although there is a small dent on the front bumper (passenger side) and a few other small blemishes. Ultimately however, the car presents very well.
The car was fitted with genuine Honda alloy wheels – 3 out of the 4 are in excellent condition, whilst one has been kerbed.
Car to be sold without rego, although this can be arranged.
