Honda S600 1966

1966 S600 coupe purchased by current owner in 1992. The body & interior were pretty rough. The back hatch and the bonnet were replaced and all the rust was cut out. It was then totally repainted in 1996 ($5k) and had $2k spent on mechanicals. A couple of years later the engine was assessed to be too far gone and another engine was purchased, along with a trailer load of parts. In 2000 and approx $5k later the car was roadworthy and registered. It was driven occasionally for the next 5 or 6 years with only servicing and some work to the water pump. I started it one day in 2006 and something was wrong with the throttle, it started to rev without the pedal so I turned it straight off, and that was the last time it was touched. Since then it has gathered dust in a covered shed and it has some dents in the roof caused by a child (don't ask) but is otherwise unchanged. It also comes with a couple of pallet loads of spares.
The spare parts are mainly suspension and transmission but there's other stuff too. Body No AS285C 1001479. Engine No when purchased AS285 F21009225 replaced with 1005348.
The early compilation photo was taken in 1997, the shiny ones were in January 2005, the dusty shots were taken a couple of days ago.
Car would need to picked up from Central Victoria, 3464.
