Description
With regret I am selling my Honda Integra DC5 type
R, this car has been an absolute pleasure to own and has proven to be reliable
for the two years I have owned it. The car was imported to northern Island and
then part exchanged for an evo in England. I purchased the car in September
2013.
The car itself has a mix of miles and kilometres on the clock, this works out to around 100,000 miles. Please don’t let the mileage put you off as if you know anything about Honda's they will go on forever!
It unfortunately didn’t come with much history, however it does come with some receipts and I have serviced it every 4000-5000 miles.
In my ownership I have replaced:
The 02 sensor, these are very common on these
The headlights as they were faded and ruined the look of the car
The starter motor was noisy so I replaced it even though it was in full working order
New clutch as it was slipping when I purchased the car
it has the following modifications
AEM short arm air filter
DC sports exhaust with the middle box removed, please note this is a loud exhaust system. (This rattles a fair bit, simple fix which I will try to get sorted before I sell)
K100 ecu remapped to 234bhp with rolling road print at. This was done at TDI North and has transformed the day to day drivability of the car
All engine mounts are upgraded
Clarion double din head unit
BC Racing coilovers
I really don’t want to sell this car, the only reason I am is due to travelling much more with work and I have bought a diesel
Please do not try and offer me silly money here, it is priced reasonably and I will not even entertain low offers, don’t waste your or my time.
Bad points:
Exhaust rattles as previously noted
There is a dent on the passenger rear wing
A 4 inch scratch on the right side of the car
The front has the usual stone chips
The wheels could do with a refurb
The driver’s seat has the usual bolster wear
No part exchanges as I have a new car already.
