1991 and 1992 PP1 models are (were) somewhat abundant and have been appearing in North America for quite some time now. Most though, rather unoriginal and usually quite 'spent'. By 1995 the Honda Beat was very limited in production and the 'Version Z'even more so. I happened upon this one by chance and went through all the steps to buy and import it from Japan. It is currently registered in Ontario, Canada.
Since importing, it has only been used a few times for a sunny day drive for some fun. It's currently sitting collecting dust so I feel it's time to offer it for sale.
It is box-stock with the exception of Speedline Italy (MiM) wheels, Dixcel slotted rotors with brake pads, Showa shocks on slightly lowered springs, a gel-cell battery, and a yet to be installed Robbins (USA) convertible top (with glass rear window) - a vast improvement from the original offered by Honda.
Also included are side-skirts and a front spoiler and a few odds and ends such as 20th anniversary emblems (no longer available - and never applied). Brand new floor mats that only saw the light of day a few months ago), brand new original fog lights (never installed), an original tonneau coverand I'm sure a few more things I'm just not remembering.
The front and rear hoods should be repainted. This Beat was stored outdoors when it was originally living in a very southern location in Japan, and probably had some paint damage from tree sap. The mileage (miles here are 'miles' - the odometer is of course in kilometers and is ~ 86,500 and confirmed by Japanese authorities and recorded upon registration in Canada. To the best of my knowledge, I am the second owner of this car. That's about it!
Please: Check your local jurisdiction regarding the use of a right-hand drive car or importing a 1995 'Kei' prior to doing anything okay? I'm not going to be responsible for someone not doing their homework. ;-) Payment10% non-refundable within 24 hours and balance by cash, certified check or bank transfer before release of the vehicle. Duration between purchase and removal14 days (although to be obliging, that can certainly be discussed / arranged prior).
* The second to last pic was taken in Kobe, Japan before the Beat began the trip all the way down to the Panama Canal and then up to Halifax, Nova Scotia and finally, Montreal, Quebec.
