Genuine HSV Clubsport R8 Tourer Rolling Shell. This vehicle is a statutory write off and cannot be registered in Australia. May suit project or export.
The vehicles PPSR will state it was written off for major stripping after it was broken into on a dealership lot in Perth, a $52,000 car with 64,000km on the clock. The right rear window was broken and the front seats and HSV engine cover were stolen. The car has since had the engine and gearbox removed as a conversion kit, the front seats have been replaced with a pair from a comparable model (2010 HSV E3 Clubsport R8) and the rear window has been replaced.
The rest of the car will be kept complete for anything less than the auctions starting value. This is still a genuine car and should not be confused with a replica. Suitable for export with a new power plant or as a dedicated power cruise, burnout or track car.
The car is being sold complete minus the following components.
- Engine, headers and cats (originally an LS3 6.2L. Cooling system and catback exhaust sill fitted)
- Gearbox (Originally 6L80e 6 speed automatic. Tailshaft still fitted)
- ECU, BCM and engine wiring harness. (Fuse box, body harness and bumper harness untouched)
HSV leather interior, genuine HSV wheels, 4 piston big brake kit and 3.27 LSD all included, please do not ask for parts.
