Description

Up for auction is a 1951 Hudson Hornet. It is a western car and it shows. This car has been driven all over the country. It has been pictured in several magazines articles as it has visited different venues including Bonneville Salt Flats issue 272.
Mostly original paint here. Hood & visor are painted to match. Very solid car showing only one spot of rust behind the passenger front wheel. Underside is completely rust free.
It has the original flathead 6 engine with the original 4 speed “hydramatic”. This car runs very well and still shifts smoothly.
It has been lowered 2 inches the right way. It now has disc brakes up front. The rear axle has been swapped with a Chrysler 8 ¾ with a 270 gear giving very good cruising speeds.
The interior has been redone. The gauges have been upgraded. I still have original gauges, air cleaner, and radio. The windows are tinted and can easily be removed.
