Here we have a 2nd owner Hyundai accent bought from an uncle.
The original low kilometre engine has had a turbo conversion.
list of parts below:
Head: near new - port & polish, 3 angle valves, new valve guides, new performance seats, custom valve springs
cams: turbo grind
Custom ARP Head Studs
turbo: near new gt2860rs turbo externally gated
turbosmart wastegate
braided lines - near new
turbo sump
turbo manifold - ceramic coated & Titanium heat wrapped
screamer pipe neatly routed to the exhaust using a flex pipe.
3" mandrel bent exhaust
* Custom alloy intercooler piping kit
* 600 x 300 x 76mm intercooler
* Turbosmart plumback BOV
* Braided BOV vacuum line
* Custom alloy plenum
* System upgrade xtreme throttlebody
* Custom fuel rail
* 380cc injectors
* Used washable K&N Airfiler
* Rear disc break conversion
* Haltech PS1000 Engine management system, air temp sensor,coolant sensor, wide band AFR, boost control solenoid
* 15' spider rims with 195 rubber, 80% left
* walbro intank 255 fuel pump
* exedy heavy duty clutch and pressure plate
* PWR dual core radiator and fan shroud assembly
I'm sure I have left things out. But you get the idea. A lot of work has been done and a lot of money has been spent. Over $25000. I will now pass it on to some lucky person to continue if they choose.
And by continue I mean suspension and engine block are still stock. although suspension is nice and tight being a low km car and the engine has no engine ping whatsoever but if you would like to increase the boost it would be a good idea to strengthen the block. Not engineered although shouldn't be to hard to do so. Take it as far as you like. But I cannot afford to do it unfortunately.
I have been driving it for approx 2000km since all the little tweaks have been ironed out and it runs like a dream. sounds great and surprises the hell out of everyone and in my opinion the best looking accent/excel model.
