Description
This was my son's Hyundai Elantra, which he drove from circa 2013 'til he bought his new Ford Maverick hybrid pickup a few days ago.
I have always loved this car. Been jealous about it actually. It handles like the Lotus Elan I used to own when I was his age (far better than our SUV.) It's always delivered superb mileage and is quite comfortable. Incredibly peppy for a car that squeezes so many miles out of a gallon. Really a great, reliable and fun car. SUVs have us all sitting up at truck height; experience for yourself the joy of zipping around sitting low in a vehicle with a low center of mass (ok, gravity.)
Brakes, including calipers, are NEW. <- money saver right there!
I just looked for rust, saw none.
As you can see, the car has some scrapes and dings. The tires really need to be replaced (one in particular, yikes!) and alignment, and the exhaust has recently been making some noise. A low speed front end accident in 2017 required replacement of front bumper, radiator and hood - no cooling issues since. Aftermarket backup camera is not working.
If you're looking for transportation that's fun and reliable, well, you just found it!
