We purchased this Sonata for our daughter on February 26,2019. I was very impressed with how clean and rust free the vehicle was then, and to this day! It's extremely clean both inside and out! Niceties: Beautiful Burgundy Paint, Tan leather interior, automatic transmission, AM/FM/CD player, quality sound system, heated seats, tilt wheel, WeatherTech Floor Mats, both front and rear, cabin heater will roast you out in the winter, and Air Conditioning will freeze you out in the summer! Full disclosure: Over the past 2-1/2 years, onlyone quarter-sized spot of rust now appears on the left rear quarter panel. Beyond that, there are a few tiny chips and dings here and there, typical for acar of this vintage. Speaking mechanically, the impeccable service record is shared below. (Scroll all the way down). Oil changes occurred every 3000 miles since new. All fluids and filters have been recently flushed and replaced. Some big ticket items were a freshly rebuilt transmission, new front struts, new rear shocks, new tires, new battery, brakes/rotors, high quality wiper blades, and professional detailing conducted regularly, both inside and out. I have spared no expense in keeping this car well-maintained and safe for our daughter. We've experience an occasional "Check Engine Now" light, but always replaced parts based on the given code(s). On rare occasions the car will hesitate between 1st and 2nd gear, something that started after the new computer was installed. The dealership provided a card that addresses that, something about "The computer has to learn about a given driver's habits." Overtime I took it to a couple of reputable mechanics to get it diagnosed, but they either couldn't get it to misbehave again during a test drive, or if it did, their recommendation was, "Just drive it until the computer learns!" This car has been a wonderful machine for our daughter, but she needed something much larger for her theater-lighting job. Please enjoy the plentiful images and do not hesitate to ask questions. PAYMENT: Buyer is required to submit a non-refundable deposit in the amount of $ 500.00 via PayPal immediately upon close of auction, or after selecting the "Buy it now", feature. I will extend an extra seven (7) days to pay the balance via PayPal, and pick up the vehicle. This is an "As is, Where is sale". Based on past experience, long distance buyers typically arrange for a car carrier to come retrieve the vehicle, at their own expense. Once the car is paid for in full, I might negotiate for an outdoor storage period of more than seven (7) days, but only on a case by case basis. We shall not be held responsible for damage of any kind during the storage period. Once the car is paid for in full, the buyer must take possession no later than 30 days after auction close. Beyond the 30 day period, buyer will forfeit the money, the vehicle it will be considered abandoned, and possibly relisted for sale. I have sold several cars on eBay over the years, and those transactions have always gone smoothly. Clear and concise communication between seller and buyer is paramount. We are friendly eBay seller and will gladly try our best to accommodate the buyer in a fair and friendly way. Buyer will be expected to sign an official bill of sale.
