ANOTHER Roush Honda “NO RESERVE” auction! This one is for a very clean, very nice 2014 Hyundai Tucson – that NEEDS A NEW ENGINE! This is what’s called a buy-back because we sold it in good faith but the engine blew shortly after delivery to our customer. It starts right up, idles smoothly, it just won’t go over about 20 miles per hour because the computer has prompted to “limp mode” which is designed to prevent you from being completely stranded and (hopefully) get you to a safe location and/or help. We haven’t taken anything apart, please see the attached photo for the technician’s analysis. Sounds like a visit to Car-Part.com is in order for the winning bidder to find a “good” engine nearby. Anything less means you’re ahead – IF you can repair this one!

Otherwise, this Tucson is a pretty nice vehicle! This model year would normally have about 120,000 miles but this one has only 83,801 and appears to have always been garaged based on the condition of the paint and plastics. It’s equipped with such “niceties” as remote/power door locks, Bluetooth cellphone and wireless streaming audio, air-conditioning with cabin air-filtration, decent tires, and more.
