The International MXT 4x4 or Military Extreme Truck is an all-terrain vehicle, built around a military grade chassis and equipped with a large cab that gives room and comfort to the driver and up to 4 passengers.
The International MXT was designed by Navistar Defense to suit military needs and later developed for commercial use with only 250 commercial MXT’s produced.
As the World’s largest pickup truck, the MXT is powered by a Navistar 6.0 liter turbo diesel V-8 MaxxForce engine, developing 300 horsepower/718 N.m of torque and coupled to an Allison 5 speed automatic transmission with a 2 speed transfer case.
The axles are solid with spring suspension that offers superb load capacity with minimum maintenance. The large tires provide surprising road speed and exceptional performance either in towns, mountains or in the desert.
With the extended cab, the loading capacity is the best in this class, surpassing any competitor allowing the MXT to easily bridge the gap between trucks and SUV’s.
The highly customizable MXT is a vehicle that “promotes as much as it performs” with 5 Tonne of towing capacity, it has the ability to tow two leading model pick-ups behind it.
