Description
1974 INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER TRUCK 2 brl 345 V8, AT
For sale is this cool old International 100 series truck straight from the farm. It yard (farm) runs, drives & stops ok & is fairly solid with a straight body & clean, complete interior. It is being sold as is to restore or rat rod as you see fit. There is plenty to work with as the body is surprising straight & rust free for its age & usage. The engine starts easily & doesnt smoke but it will need tuned up & run as it sat for some time before being brought to light again here on ebay. (the carb was rebuilt & many gallons of good gas has run thru the system so the tank is known to be clean) The great thing about it is how complete & original the interior is: the dash is not cut up, factory radio, gauges working, glovebox intact, headliner, etc. The interior isnt beat & torn & could be comfortable as is for a daily driver. It has factory air which has to be rare (of course it doesnt work). The bed is free of rust holes: its rusty & banged up from a tough life on the farm but its still got life left. The tires are rollers, nothing more. Brakes stop it & nothing else is known of their condition. This is a cool body style only made between 69-75 & is perfect for someone who wants to drive/restore something different than the typical product from the big three who ultimately put IHs light duty trucks out of production.
Im not going to make any money selling it but thats ok because that means you wont have to pay much for it. As long as you expect a project & not a daily driver straight off the truck bid to win as you wont go wrong with this truck at this price. Check the pics carefully & ask anything you need to know. I will answer honestly because I just want to find the truck a home, I don't need to sell it, don't expect to make a profit, just felt the need to save it from the crusher but at the same time don't personally need another project. Hopefully you do.
A non-refundable deposit of only $100 is required from the winning bidder, due via PayPal within 24 hours after the auction ends. (this proves you are fully committed to completing this transaction & allows for re-listing if you are not). No trades. Full payment is due within 7 days of auction end via cash in person, bank-to-bank or wire transfer, or certified bank check (drawn on a major US bank). Clear VA title is in hand and vehicle can be scheduled for buyer pickup by appointment at anytime after full payment is received and cleared. I can hold the vehicle for 30 days (storage is $10.00 per day starting day 31). Vehicle is located in Salem, VA, 24153 (not far from Roanoke, VA)
We are happy to work with the buyer to arrange shipping. We realize the deal is not complete until you have the vehicle in your possession & we want that as badly as you do. Its only fair that once full payment is made that you should get your purchased item quickly. Rest assured we will do everything in our power to insure that happens as quickly & safely as possible. Once you decide on a carrier we work directly with your shipper to get the job done & report back to you just as quickly. Anything you need, we are here to serve.
This 50 year old classic car is being sold as is with no warranty expressed or implied. Before bidding & possibly owning this classic vehicle carefully consider the pleasures as well as the occasional disappointments involved with vintage automobiles. Thank you.
