I bought this Scout in 1989 in stock form. It was my daily driver until 2007, when gas prices got crazy. Since 2007 it has just been the fun summer ride, winter snowstorm killer, and gone on the occasional trail ride. Last August, it was driven to the Black Hills for the Dakota Territory Challenge for some more challenging trails. This Scout was re-built with the Kentrol body in 1993. In 1993 it was awarded 2nd place in the 1979 Wild Modified Class at the IH Nationals. The rebuild included new carpet, new upholstery, new rear wiring harness. The goal was to escape the rust and have a reliable on and off road vehicle. The fiberglass body has far out performed the original steel body.
Included are 2 NOS door skins, miscellaneous spare parts (full pump, coil, fan belts). Also prototype fiberglass Buskwacker style fender flares (4).
