1980 International Scout II
Selling my Scout to someone that will hopefully take it to the next level. I've throughly enjoyed driving the Scout but I've had too many birthdays to move it along where it deserves. Details:
95,000+K miles on the odometer and runs like a top even on 70 mph long hauls. This along makes me think the previous owner was correct when he told me the engine had been rebuilt. Engine is 345 ci with a newly rebuilt Edelbrock 4 barrell carburetor .
Transmission is standard shift 4 speed (close)

The Ugly:
The stereo system needs some attention. I think the antenna and its wiring is suspect. The speakers need re-hooked up
Rust is a Scout's trademark! I really think this Scout has min. rust as compared to the norm. The cowling is the most obvious and replacement would be a must. The other area is in the quarter panel area directly under the crowning. I think this is the same drainage issue which could be remedied at the same time. Floor looks fine except in this small area.
I have two ignition keys and no keys for any other locks on the Scout.
