Description
I have lowered the reserve and put another $1,500 into this car since the last auction!
I have owned this lovely Jag for 3 years but we are moving state shortly, and there is no room in our new garage.
We live in the mountains of N. Carolina and she has only seen brief outings on sunny summer days.
I purchased the car in NY three years ago. It has had a complete rebuild on the engine and other mechanical parts in the last 7K miles, including radiator, alternator, clutch, transmission, fan motors, water pump, brakes, updated starter, electronic ignitionover $28K documented in running gear alone. This spring, the clutch plates froze together so I sent it down to a Jag specialist in Charlotte for a complete overhaul including new tires, resonator, brake cylinders, and more. It can be inspected there. The vehicle is an excellent example of a driver's car, which should give huge pleasure as well as being a quickly appreciating asset. The car is the 45th to last of the Series One. This is a heritage titled vehicle with all matching numbers, low mileage and a series 1.5, a rare combination.
For serious buyers only, my telephone number is Chris at 828.390.4464 and I can give the number of my mechanic for an independent report or to schedule an inspection.
