Question:
Dear woomera2004,

Response:
Dear peterbbookbinder,

UK delivered, see the Heritage Certificate at this web site:
Been in Australia since the 1970's I think. Rubbers were replaced a few years ago. All gauges and electrics work although the speedo needs cleaning and lubricating as it "jumps". I use a GPS for speed in KPH, rather than the speedo in MPH.

The car had a new electronic fuel pump and new electric cooling fan just fitted.

The car has been mechanically restored and whilst the body is fine for me, others may be looking for a fully restored car - which will be far more expensive than the price I am seeking.

I recommend you inspect the car prior to bidding. You can call me on 0428 889098 to arrange inspection.

Note:
There is a place in Brisbane (Archerfield?) that cleans and services instruments including speedos at reasonable cost.
The electric clock in the Tacho does not work and is disconnected. I intentionally have not had the clock repaired and reconnected as it would flatten the battery with the my minimal usage of the car.
I have a spare tacho and clock and I believe that clock works.
There is a place in the USA which replaces the clock internals with a modern electronic clock at reasonable cost, which does not flatten the battery.
I recommend bidders inspect the car before bidding, although time is now running short. The car had a complete mechanical restoration in recent years and whilst the body, paint etc is fine and presentable for me, other's may be seeking a restored body. It is for this reason I am asking around half the price of a fully restored car. I was previously quoted between $12,000 and $15,000 for body restoration and repaint.
