1959 Jaguar Mark ix (9) Automatic Sedan Part completed project

Up for auction is my Mark ix Jaguar. I bought the car with theintention of doing a complete restoration. Time and Money have stoppedme! When I bought the car it was running but with the usual lower 12inches of rust. I have done all the mechanical work required includingall suspension and steering (however the front shocks have not beenfitted) The brakes have been completely rebuilt with reconditionedcalipers and new disks. (The mechanical work cost over $17,000) Thewoodwork has all been restored and is beautiful (Cost in excess of$4000) the seats have been recovered in red leather and two of the doortrims completed in matching vinyl to the original pattern.(allmaterials to complete rear door panels included) All Major chrome parts(bumpers, over riders etc) have been re-chromed.($3000) Grill, windowframes and all glass are in good condition. The sale includes a completeset of replacement rubbers, furflex door trim, headlining andcarpets/underlay. All lights are with the car with new lenses for theparking lights (including the red cats eyes) and rear lights. Even theleaping cat is included. Total cost of parts shipped from UK $8600. I do realize I will never get my money back butif I cant get a reasonable offer I will sell as parts. I have beenquoted $15,000 to complete the panel work and paint the car.
