What a lovely day to drive! I've driven all sorts of lovely cars over the years but this S-type really is one of the nicest most comfortable cars I have ever driven.
The way this car feels to drive is just sublime, I bought this car to do a few long trips in it but liked it so much it became my daily driver.
I've owned the car for just under a year and I bought it from the original owner of 11 years from new! The car has a full service history and has been well maintained, the engine is absolutely sweet and silky smooth as you'd expect from a Jaguar V6. Mated to an automatic gearbox for added comfort and smooth gear shifts but with option sport button for when the mood takes you for a spirited drive.
In my experience however the car is happiest as a comfy cruiser, when you do put you foot down it's almost as if the car say, "Really, are you sure Sir?" Don't misunderstand the car will get a move on when a swift overtake is required but it's happiest gently cruising along.
The car is best to be seen to be fully appreciated, good condition throughout, few age related blemishes now beginning to show but nothing which detracts from the car's looks greatly.
Standard kit includes; full leather interior with fully power adjustable front seats with drivers memory, walnut dash and trim inserts, cruise cruise, steering wheel mounted controls for stereo and cruise control, electronically adjustable steering column, electric mirrors, auto dipping rear view mirror, automatic headlights, the list goes on.
This car also comes fitted with remove able tablet mount on the dash, great for running sat Nav on an iFad and of course the is an auxiliary input facility too.
Presented in one of the best colour combinations of classic deep blue metallic paint and full cream leather interior, this car really is something special and I will few very sorry to see her go.
New job has forced very reluctant sale.
