Description
Very rare Jaguar XJ12with Long-wheel base in excellent condition.
The car drives as good as it looks. I am the 4th owner, and it has been in Florida since 2003. For 10 years in was the personal vehicle of a well-known Jaguar restoration shop.
I bought it in 2019 and it has been kept in an airconditioned warehouse and only taken out to cruise in good weather. I fulfilled my dream of owning a 12-cylinder Jaguar and now it is time to move on.
The rear leather seats are original, but they look and feel like they've never been used. Both front seats were re-upholstered last year by a Jaguar restoration shop in original Jaguar leather for $3,500.
Front and back have the original (upgrade) lambs wool carpets in great shape.
It comes with two keys and two remote controls.
The original radio was switched out for a Alpine stereo with Bluetooth (2 years old).
The only two negative things I can think of are a small (less than a dime) dent in the rear passenger side panel (see picture with red circle around the dent) and some of the center console controls being pushed back into the console (also see red circle in picture). Everything else works as it should. Very cold AC(can’t live without it in Florida).
This model was only sold in the US during 1996, and one of only 591 units delivered worldwide. It is the last model equipped with the 6.0L 12 cylinder engine that was used in iconic cars like the Jaguar E-type.

Here is a little bit of history on the X305 model (1995–1997)
In September 1994, the XJ12 (X305) got the same styling revisions as the XJ6 (X300). The 6.0L JaguarV12 engine offered 318bhp and was continued for the 1995 model year mechanically unchanged from the 1994 XJ81 car. From 1995 on, the engine used a distributorless Denso electronic management system. The XJ12 was visibly differentiated from the XJ6 not only by a badge on the boot lid, but also by a"V12" badge on each side of the central pillar. The X305 XJ12 was available in both short- and long-wheelbase forms, although in the North American market, the long-wheelbase version was only available with the 1996 model year. No 1997 XJ12s were sold in North America.
The last Jaguar to be powered by a V12 engine was a black XJ12 which left the production line on April 17, 1997. It now resides in the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust Museum, Coventry. Only 591 XJ12s with long-wheelbase were produced in the X305 bodystyle, making it rarer than V12 rivals such as the BMW 750iL and Mercedes-BenzS600.
