Description
I am selling on behalf of a friend who has owned this vehicle for the last eleven and a half years. He fell down stone steps a couple of years ago and has since been unable to drive as a result his XJ12 is for sale
The car has been mothballed since his accident but collected every 3 mths by his local garage and driven to make sure every is still working, also they collected the vehicle for MOT testing.
I drove the car 168 miles from his home to mine - all fine except by the time I got home there was a slight exhaust blow from the right hand bank.
The car has 4 new tyres and a brand new battery, There are a few things that would need to be attended to ie the sunroof does not open, air con would need charging (not cold enough) and the rear seat has sun damage. There will be other things I am sure - that's what happens when a classic car is not used.
I would like anyone interested to come and view the car. I am told the car was originally owned by the Duke of Westminster and is one of only 6 built to this specification (up to you to confirm)
I am happy to answer any questions, if I can. My number 01373812450.
The owner is expecting around £2500 for the car but I'm sure all offers would be considered
I guess in the not too distant future these will be very rare
