jaguar xj6 series 3 Vanden plas

1983 series 3 Vanden Plas. This was the highest spec version you could buy.
This was a project that I have now lost interest in. Heaps of dollars spent already.
THE GOOD
All rust done
New window seals back and front
Fully reconditioned transmission
Functioning sunroof , gearing replaced
New front tyres
New battery
Brand new AC compressor
Full fluids changed - diff, brakes , engine and trans oil, power steering fluid.
Reconditioned radiator with electric fan
Drives like a Jag should
Full options, cruise, AC,electric mirrors, sunroof, pepperpot alloys, trip computer, electric windows, central locking, headlight wipers.
THE BAD
will sometimes backfire through intake when accelerating and has a miss.
Seat leather cracked as shown
Central locking needs attention
Dash lacquer has cracks
Fuel gauge for left tank works intermittently
Obviously no rego or roadworthy.
I am selling at what I have put into it
