Description
For sale is my Jaguar XJC V12.
It is a left hand drive American model. For this reason, it has the series 3 bumpers, door handles, mirrors, grille from the factory.
This was my personal car while I lived in Peru. I brought the car back to Australia with me in 2008.
The car runs and drives, however apart from taking it in and out of the garage, I have not taken it out on the street since it has been back in Australia.
The paintwork is in relatively good condition. It has some blemishes, but for the most part, it isn't in too bad a state.
The transmission output shaft seal leaks a bit of oil.
I have other Jag parts that might be of interest to the new owner that I am open to offers on after the end of the auction. Different wheels, XJS seats, TWR bumpers, a non running XJ6 series 3 car, boxes of harnesses and parts I have collected over time.
Yes, it has an import approval. Yes, it does have some rust beginning to form under the paint. Nothing serious that would prevent it being registered.
There is an additional fuse panel near the battery and that two relays located in the cabin in an effort to begin to get as much electrical componentry out of the engine bay. You can also see the heat sheathing on the remaining three relays going to the front cowl.
The battery box is still with the car, it is not installed in the photos.
I have uploaded a photo of the rust. There is a small amount around the lower LHS front windscreen. This rust has not developed over the almost 12 years that I have owned the car. In my opinion, these rust spots do not pose any problem.
