Description
This XJS is in great condition. The V12 was removed and a Chevy 350 along with a Turbo-Hydramatic transmission was professionally installed. The original gauges were retained (see dash photo with car idling) and working as they should. The lack of structural rust and attention to detail during engine conversion sets it apart from other Jaguars of the same vintage, it is a great driver!
Their is a small tear in the back seat, otherwise the interior is very nice. The glove box inside has been removed to allow for ductwork for the air conditioner, which puts out cold air. As you can see the body is straight. I had the front end aligned and found 1 tie rod end loose and I purchased another one which goes with the car. Engine/Trans have about 10,000 miles on them.
Great thing is you can drive this car with the knowing you have the reliability of the 350 Chevy engine and transmission!
