1996 Jaguar XJS convertible 2-door 4.0L

You are bidding on a very clean and very nice 1996 Jaguar XJS convertible! It has low mileage, 68,248 miles. I have in hand a free and CLEAR, CLEAN, NOT SALVAGE, California title, in my name! I am the 4th owner and I bought it because of it's very good mechanical condition! It is reported on AutoCheck that this vehicle was previously rebuilt/rebuildable and salvage. When I acquired the car it had all original paint with the exception of the hood which had been repainted. An inspection of the vehicle showed that the hood had been replaced and that it was a good sound automobile, with the exception that the original paint was faded on the trunk lid and on the tops of the fenders. After purchasing it I decided to make it look as good as it ran and I decided to do a complete new paint job in it's original color of green and I also recovered the front seats as the drivers seat was showing some wear on the outside bolster. It was done with the same leather the factory used, also new front carpets, again same material and color as the factory used. I had the original aluminum wheels chrome plated, as the previous owner had used a cleaner that had put streaks in the aluminum, now they really look exceptionally nice. The Air-conditioning compressor has just been replaced along with the dryer and the system recharged, the air-conditioning now works very well, ice cold, most of them don't! I also replaced the original radio,(which can go with the sale), with a new Sony AM/FM/CD with Bluetooth for hands free telephone calls along with music from my cell phone and Pandora. Everything works on the car as it is supposed to, with the exception of the cruise control. the top is in excellent condition along with the headliner, the rear window is glass with a heating, defrosting element and is in perfect condition, It has a power top that works perfect also. The other negative is that the original headlight lenses show a little cloudiness. I have taken a good amount of pictures, so look at them carefully and you will see that this is an exceptionally nice car and in person it will not disappoint. Once again it does NOT have a salvage title, I hold a clean and clear California title in my name! This car sold last week here on eBay, but the winning bidder from Canada did not perform. Said his passport was expiring in a couple of days and wanted me to hold the car for him without paying for it, said when he renewed his passport he wanted to come down to Southern California, look at the car and then pay for it. When I suggested he just have it shipped, he said no, he wanted to drive it back, so he could visit Las Vegas.
