Powering this vehicle is believed to be the original 4.2 Liter inline 6 paired with a well-sorted and nice shifting manual transmission. The vehicle comes to us out of a private collection where it has spent the last 12 years of its life. Enzo Ferrari was even quoted as saying that the E-type Jaguar was the most beautiful car ever built and Sports Car International magazine placed the E-Type at number one on their list of Top Sports Cars of the 1960s. It was essentially built in three variants, a Fixed Head Coupe, an Open Two-Seater or convertible, and the 2+2 which was a coupe with 4 seats. Even though it was essentially a single design body for those fourteen years it did have three generations or three significant updates.
